We have a good essence.

Find humanity in everyone even those who you might realize that they digress from humanity’s essence due to certain beliefs that have been put in their minds. When we look at the time of Hitler, we realize that there were some warden who were kind with the prisoners, yet they can’t go against the ruling of Hitler so we can’t just judge them to be evil just because they are following his command because they themselves are afraid to go against him, for if they go against him they shall be slain. It is well known that the prime goal of an individual is to maintain survival and boldly going against such a person can cost your life, so in that situation, an average person is not expected to act heroic and rebel against a person in control of all buttons of the empire. It happens in many situations, including societal ones and even emotional ones. We might find people who might deal with you aggressively in the presence of some higher ups because their higher ups expect them to be crude with people, but when they are alone they regain back their humanity and act in a cool humane manner. This brings us to another big question, which questions the amount of freedom we have and to what extent are we indeed free. Many shackles are put upon us and we act based on the possibilities that have been allowed to pass these shackles, yet there were a lot of possibilities that have been taken away due to these shackles. It happens in many aspects and if one is inclined to generalize, we shall then find ourselves not accepting any good from any human for their mere partisan stance to a certain coercive notion. Yet, with all this understanding, we don’t disregard the factors that make a society susceptible to be more prone to create individuals that function in a certain dehumanizing way in order to control people.

We kill! But Why?

We allocate money for important things. At times it is to develop a certain idea, to initiate a certain project that can function in many ways. It could be a project of waste recycling, it could be a new roundabout or anything else. At times we do invest on things that shall help prevent impending danger. An expected flood is treated by creating an intelligent system of allowing water to flow without causing damage, or it could be a certain awareness project to teach people how to use water, dispose waste, share certain public places, or anything that would be of societal benefit.

Looking through history, we realize that humans have been dangerous towards other humans. We have been conquering each other’s lands and exterminating each other. I think it would be wise to invest upon studies to understand why we have some dormant animosity towards each other that gets free in certain situations. I do realize that many shall say that is what the field of social sciences is doing. That’s what psychologists are doing. The question is are we really investing on unbiased social experiments or some people are funding social scientists who carry similar notions and by that are ready to skew date to reach certain conclusions that have been determined prior to the study.

Some simply jump and say since we are species that evolved, then we are just creatures bound to seek survival and protect themselves from any expected danger, so we annihilate our fellows. We should realize that most of our exterminating of fellow beings is not due to concrete dangers but it is for certain abstract notions that we hold strongly dear to ourselves. So it is our neocortex that is directing our lower brain parts and in some cases it could be the way around but massacres could hardly be guided by the lower brain regions but by the higher ones, or maybe they are implemented by orders from the neocortex, which received orders from the lower brain regions. Often, we don’t kill because of concrete danger but due to abstract notions.

Think on this more!!!!

Humble yourself and admit to a degree of uncertainty

Too much of something is harmful, a long-living adage that many wise people reach. We hear many people repeating it, but not all practice its implications. It might be that what we consider too much is a matter of controversy since it is a relativistic matter. Everyone gauges things from a certain internal perspective making us differ in what is too much and what is in the range of normalcy. At times people believe that they are in normalcy while other people feel that they are exceeding limits, so who is to put limits? We all have certain things we are certain about and that is what freedom is; it is to allow people to have certitudes, without clinging on certitudes of annihilating others neither should they impose them upon others. We all live different lives, we all reach conclusions due to inner alterations, partially instigated by external matters. Agreeing that your words might appear wrong for others, yet find confidence in yourself that they are right for you is key for internal peace in some sense. Being around people who also do agree that you might reach different conclusions and you have the right to internalize them deeply without harming anyone is a right you must enjoy and this shall create an overall healthy society.
